About Us

WNBH has a varied group of fully licensed clinicians, as well as student-clinicians and interns, to address our client needs.  We are delighted to introduce some of them to you here:

 

Catherine Jones-Hazledine, Ph.D.

Catherine Jones-Hazledine, Ph.D., or "Dr. Cate" as most of her clients know her, is a licensed psychologist who specializes in working with children, adolescents, and families, but is also trained to work with adults and couples.

She was trained at the University of Chicago and the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, and worked as an Assistant Professor with the Munroe-Meyer Institute at UNMC for seven years prior to leaving to start Western Nebraska Behavioral Health.

In addition to individual, family, and group therapy, Dr. Jones-Hazledine frequently does presentations and training on a variety of topics.


As a native of rural Nebraska herself, Dr. Cate understands the specific challenges and concerns that rural residents have and is committed to finding workable solutions.




Angela Snyder, M.A., LMHP, LPC

Angela Snyder is a licensed mental health practitioner and licensed professional counselor who specializes in working with children, adolescents, and adults.  She provides both individual and family therapy services.

Angela received her training from Chadron State College, and received further training from the Munroe-Meyer Institute at UNMC, under the supervision of 'Dr. Cate'.  Angela also worked for two years under the Munroe-Meyer Institute Americorps program.

Like Dr. Cate, Angela is a native of rural Nebraska and is committed to providing services for our communities.



Lauren Coffey, Ph.D.

Lauren Coffey, Ph.D. is a Licensed Psychologist who specializes in working with children, adolescents, adults, and families.

Dr. Coffey graduated from Oklahoma State University with a doctoral degree in School Psychology and completed her pre-doctoral internship and post-doctoral fellowship with the University of Nebraska Medical Center, Munroe-Meyer Institute (UNMC-MMI) and Western Nebraska Behavioral Health (WNBH), providing rural integrated behavioral health care. She also has experience working in the school setting, conducting evaluations and developing academic and behavioral interventions.

In addition to providing individual and family therapy, Dr. Coffey is also an adjunct professor at Chadron State College, teaching graduate level counseling courses.

Kaylee J

Kaylee James, M.S. PLMHP

Kaylee James is a provisionally licensed mental health practitioner who specializes in working with children, adolescents, and adults.

Kaylee is currently completing her pre-doctoral internship under the supervision of Dr. Cate with the University of Nebraska Medical Center, Munroe-Meyer Institute (UNMC-MMI) and Western Nebraska Behavioral Health (WNBH).Kaylee received her Master’s degree in clinical psychology from Eastern Kentucky University and is expected to graduate with her PsyD in clinical psychology in 2022.
