WNBH has a varied group of fully licensed clinicians, as well as student-clinicians and interns, to address our client needs. We are delighted to introduce some of them to you here:



Cate

Catherine Jones-Hazledine, Ph.D.

Owner, Clinic Director, & Psychologist

Catherine Jones-Hazledine, Ph.D., or "Dr. Cate" as most of her clients know her, is a Licensed Psychologist who specializes in working with children, adolescents, and families, but is also trained to work with adults and couples. Dr. Cate was trained at the University of Chicago and the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, and worked as an Assistant Professor with the Munroe-Meyer Institute at UNMC for seven years prior to leaving to start Western Nebraska Behavioral Health in 2011. In addition to individual, family, and group therapy, Dr. Cate frequently does presentations and training on a variety of topics. As a native of rural Nebraska herself, Dr. Cate understands the specific challenges and concerns that rural residents have and is committed to finding workable solutions.



Lauren

Lauren Coffey, Ph.D.

Assistant Clinic Director & Psychologist

Lauren Coffey, Ph.D. is a Licensed Psychologist who specializes in working with children, adolescents, adults, and families. Dr. Coffey graduated from Oklahoma State University with a doctoral degree in School Psychology and completed her pre-doctoral internship and post-doctoral fellowship with the Munroe-Meyer Institute at UNMC and Western Nebraska Behavioral Health (WNBH), providing rural integrated behavioral health care. Dr. Coffey has extensive knowledge and experience working with clients who have ADHD as well as with providing parent training and support. Additionally, Dr. Coffey has experience working in the school setting, conducting evaluations, and developing academic and behavioral interventions. In addition to providing therapy services and conducting psychological evaluations, Dr. Coffey is an adjunct professor at Chadron State College, teaching graduate level counseling courses.



Mike

Michael Steube, M.A.E., LMHP, CPC

Clinic Coordinator & Counselor

Michael Steube is a Licensed Mental Health Practitioner and Certified Professional Counselor who specializes in working with clients in the LGBTQIA+ community and has a focus in Telehealth-based services and technology integration in counseling. Michael received his training from Chadron State College and received further training from the Munroe-Meyer Institute at UNMC and Western Nebraska Behavioral Health (WNBH), under the supervision of Dr. Cate. In addition to providing counseling services, Michael is also an adjunct professor at the University of Nebraska - Omaha, teaching graduate level counseling courses.



Angie

Angela Snyder, M.A., LMHP

School Mental Health Liaison & Counselor

Angela Snyder is a Licensed Mental Health Practitioner who specializes in working with children, adolescents, and adults. The provides both individual and family therapy services. Angela received her training from Chadron State College and received further training from the Munroe-Meyer Institute at UNMC and Western Nebraska Behavioral Health (WNBH), under the supervision of Dr. Cate. Angela also worked for two years under the AmeriCorps program. Like Dr. Cate, Angela is a native of rural Nebraska and is committed to providing services for our communities.



Elissa

Elissa Rosebraugh, Ph.D., PLP, LIMHP

Provisionally Licensed Psychologist & Licensed Independent Mental Health Practitioner

Elissa Rosebraugh, Ph.D., is a Provisionally Licensed Psychologist who specializes in working with children, adolescents, and families. Dr. Rosebraugh graduated from Wichita State University with a doctoral degree in Community-Clinical Psychology. She completed her pre-doctoral internship with the University of Nebraska Medical Center, Munroe-Meyer Institute (UNMC-MMI) and Western Nebraska Behavioral Health (WNBH) and is currently completing her post-doctoral fellowship with WNBH, providing rural integrated behavioral health care. Dr. Rosebraugh has varied experience working in integrated-care settings (e.g., hospitals, schools) providing therapy and evaluation services, conducting researching, teaching undergraduate-level psychology courses at Wichita State University, and teaching graduate-level counseling courses at Chadron State College. In addition to this work, Dr. Rosebraugh is a member of the Board of Directors of the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention – Nebraska Chapter (AFSP-NE) and is passionate about implementing suicide prevention efforts across the Nebraska Panhandle.



Julie Hamburger, M.A.E., PLMHP

Provisionally Licensed Mental Health Practitioner

Julie Hamburger is a Provisionally Licensed Mental Health Practitioner who specializes in working with children, adolescents, families, and adults. Julie received her training at Chadron State College and received further training from the Munroe-Meyer Institute at UNMC and Western Nebraska Behavioral Health (WNBH), under the Supervision of Dr. Coffey. Julie's theoretical orientation focuses primarily on cognitive behavioral therapy also emphasizing client relationship through utilization of person-centered interventions. Julie is a rural Nebraska native and values the importance of providing services to rural communities.



Jackie

Jacqueline Buhr, M.A.E., PLMHP

Provisionally Licensed Mental Health Practitioner

Jackie Buhr is a Provisionally Licensed Mental Health Practitioner. She holds a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Chadron State College, and completed her internship training with the Munroe-Meyer Institute at UNMC and Western Nebraska Behavioral Health (WNBH), under the supervision of Dr. Cate. Jackie works in our integrated healthcare clinics in Crawford, Chadron, and Rushville. She also provides telehealth services and has experience providing mental health services to students in the elementary and middle school settings. 




Michelle Haynes, M.A.E., PLMHP

Provisionally Licensed Mental Health Practitioner

Michelle Haynes is a Provisionally Licensed Mental Health Practitioner, who works with children, adolescents, and adults. Michelle received her Clinical Mental Health Counseling degree from Chadron State College, and completed her internship training with the the Munroe-Meyer Institute at UNMC and Western Nebraska Behavioral Health (WNBH), under the supervision of Dr. Cate, gaining experience in the integrated care setting. Michelle sees clients both through telehealth and in-person at our multiple clinic locations. Michelle is a native of western Nebraska and proud to be serving the members of her local communities.
